Upgrade of the AC Services into full Co-generation Facility - UWI

Management and oversight of the upgrade activities at the AC Park to generate both cooling and electricity for the Mona Campus. Facilitated the conversation of primary fuel use from LPG to LNG which resulted in a total savings of 30% on fuel cost.

With the commissioning of the GE/Jenbacher LNG operated generators the UWI Mona can expect in excess of J$350 million savings per year on energy bills.
